The 2018 Lincoln MKX is a luxurious five-seat mid-size crossover. It's been designed to provide high-performance, reliability, comfort and value. The X5 also has an infotainment system. Navigation is included, and options like a Bang & Olufsen surround-sound system, Apple CarPlay, and a Wi-Fi hot spot are available, but not standard.

A major difference between the two vehicles is that the base trim for Lincoln MKX is more than $14,000 less than the base trim for the BMW X5.
